Patrick Donovan
Senior Vice President, Education Advisory Services

A member of Bright Horizons’ Executive Team, Patrick has overall responsibility for EdAssist and College Coach. Patrick and his teams are dedicated to enabling superior performance for clients and their employees through better education while also reducing stress through better financial wellness. Patrick believes that our job is to unlock human potential and is passionate about how we positively change lives here at Bright Horizons.

Before this role, Patrick led the Client Relations team for Bright Horizons for three years, serving all Bright Horizons Care Advantage (back-up care) clients. He also led the team that launched the Bright Horizons Special Needs service.

Before joining Bright Horizons in 2011, Patrick worked for 15 years in a variety of start-up software companies that were acquired by companies such as Motorola and TiVo.

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christopher Duchesne
Group Vice President, Client Services

Chris oversees business development at EdAssist and has been working with HR leaders for more than 18 years, focused on leveraging technology to reduce costs and execute talent management strategies that drive business results. Chris and his client services team work consultatively with new clients to help design and implement programs that attract talent, retain staff, close skills gaps, help hospitals achieve and maintain Magnet® designation, and drive employee engagement and loyalty.

Prior to joining EdAssist, Chris served as VP of Global Workplace Solutions for, where he oversaw the suite of services offered to institutional and corporate clients, their employees, and their families. Under his leadership, the program grew from inception to serve 150 organizations and more than 600,000 employees.

Previously, Chris served as the Director of Enterprise Sales at Workscape (acquired by ADP), a talent management solution and outsourced benefits administration provider. Previously, Chris held various leadership positions at Accenture where he successfully managed numerous solution development and implementation projects for Fortune 500 and global organizations across a broad range of industries.

Chris is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Kelly Russell
Vice President, Client Relations

Kelly oversees the client relations team at EdAssist, and brings more than two decades of experience in the HR space to the role. She began her career as an HR generalist and HR program manager at IDG before switching her focus to business development and strategic account management for technology solutions and services to the HR community. In her current role, Kelly leads the team responsible for the ongoing success and satisfaction of EdAssist clients.

Prior to joining EdAssist, Kelly was VP of Account Management & Development for Workplace Solutions at, where she managed relationships and revenue for more than 150 organizations and helped deliver services to more than 600,000 employees.

Previously, Kelly served as head of business development for Sentient Flight Group, Hewlett-Packard's Advanced Solutions Lab, and as one of the founding team members at

Kelly is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College.

Tracy Beard
Vice President, Employee Services

Under Tracy’s leadership, the employee services team works closely with our clients to  provide best-in-class customer service to all employees, and ensure a successful tuition or student loan program experience. This includes personalized advising for employee participants, program administration and compliance, and payment solutions.

Prior to joining EdAssist in 2011, Tracy spent 10 years as controller for Bright Horizons’ College Coach division, the nation’s leading provider of educational advising, offering expert guidance from the best college admissions consultants on the college admissions and finance process. 

Tracy earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the National Association for Female Executives.

Kristin Simonini
Vice President, Product Development

As Vice President, Product Development, Kristin Simonini is responsible for the strategic roadmap of the EdAssist product offerings. She is a seasoned product leader experienced with bringing products to market and building solutions that meet the critical business needs of our customers.

Kristin brings over fifteen years of experience setting the vision for, and managing the ongoing enhancements to, enterprise applications. She joined EdAssist from Brainshark, where she was responsible for their leading sales enablement solutions. Prior to Brainshark she held product roles at Deploy Solutions, StreamServe, and Webhire, Inc. She holds a BS from Northeastern University.

Howard Chow
Senior Director, Professional Services

Howard oversees the professional services and application support teams at EdAssist that has worked with each of our clients to successfully launch their tuition assistance and/or student loan repayment programs. He brings more than two decades of system implementation and consulting experience with the past 15 years focused in the higher education industry leveraging technology to support student success and improving faculty engagement with their students. Howard leads the team responsible for delivering implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and application support services to ensure that our clients’ program policies are successfully deployed through our solutions.

Howard joined EdAssist from Ellucian, a global provider of software and service solutions for the higher education industry, where he was the Regional Delivery Director that had overall responsibilities for almost 300 colleges and university clients in his region. He managed the client relationships and the teams responsible for delivering the solutions and services to these clients. Prior to Ellucian, Howard has held leadership and consulting roles at Divine Inc., Epsilon, and Accenture. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management, honors level, from Bentley University.
